Campervan Hire FAQ

Our expectation from the customer is to return the vehicle in the same condition as received. As another customer may be waiting for the vehicle. A checklist will be completed upon returning of vehicle and customers will be informed of any cleaning cost that will occur including our service.

We accept VISA, MASTERCARD Credit Cards. 

Yes, We need to pre-authorize $1000 on customers CREDIT CARDS as a security bond on all vehicle rentals.

Once you have completed your booking online, an automated confirmation email will be sent out.

However, a booking is confirmed, when a staff member from Top End Car Rentals will contact via call or email to confirm the detail and receive security bond and deposit.

We need your current driver’s licence and CREDIT CARDS in order to approve renting a vehicle to you.

You need to be a minimum age of 25 years old and you must have a full, unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.

Though we would love you to experience our services, sometimes things happen when you plan them the least, so in case if you want to change or cancel a booking, please call us on (08) 8947 2846 or email to enquiries@topendcarrentals.com.au.

Of course, we want you to drive secure and the security of your loved ones is our prime concern and that’s why we hire baby and booster seats and make them available at very low price of $12.50 per day. A booster seat or baby seat can be added from optional extras when you are booking online from our website.

We will fit the baby seat in the vehicle, but you must triple check before driving, to guarantee the safety of your child.

You would need to return the vehicle with a full tank as per we supply. If you choose to return the vehicle without a full tank. We will top it up and charge you the cost of the fuel and our service.

Operating times are 9 am to 5pm (Monday to Friday). Vehicles can be picked up and dropped off outside of these hours (After hours fees may apply). However, for our customer with our rental vehicle is able to reach us outside working hours - for emergency.

Yes, we can pre-arrange for cars to be collected and returned after office hours. You can call us on (08) 8947 2846 or email to enquiries@topendcarrentals.com.au arrange after hours pick up and drop off.

If you require emergency assistance, please dial 000. If you find yourself in a difficult situation, give us a call on (08) 8947 2846 so that we can advise you better and promptly.

If this happens, we ask that you call the police and report it to our office immediately.

At the moment, you can drive unlimited kms during your rental period.

If we are notified couple of hours in advance about the late return, we provide two hours grace period so that you don’t have to rush.

If we are not notified, we give a grace period of 30 minutes to customer to notify us about your whereabout with the vehicle. A full day’s rental cost (based on the website price) will be charged to the customer.
