All our rental vehicles are located at Winnellie office which is approx. 10km from the Darwin International Airport. We provide FREE pick up and drop off between 9 am start and finish at 5 pm only weekdays (pre-arranged) anything after 5 pm a cost of $35 will be charged. The cost is matched up to other ride car services.

Customers that are picked up from Airport will be heading to our office to complete a vehicle check with customer and settle full payment before vehicle is handed over.

Customer are to return vehicle to Winnellie office for an inspection check – if pre-arranged drop-off to Airport is made – staff will drop customer off to Airport as mentioned above timing and charges

You need to be a minimum age of 25 years old and you must have a full, unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.

If this happens, we ask that you call the police and report it to our office immediately.

Yes, we can pre-arrange for cars to be collected and returned after office hours. You can call us on (08) 8947 2846 or email to enquiries@topendcarrentals.com.au arrange after hours pick up and drop off.

Operating times are 9 am to 5pm (Monday to Friday). Vehicles can be picked up and dropped off outside of these hours (After hours fees may apply). However, for our customer with our rental vehicle is able to reach us outside working hours - for emergency.

You would need to return the vehicle with a full tank as per we supply. If you choose to return the vehicle without a full tank. We will top it up and charge you the cost of the fuel and our service.

Of course, we want you to drive secure and the security of your loved ones is our prime concern and that’s why we hire baby and booster seats and make them available at very low price of $12.50 per day. A booster seat or baby seat can be added from optional extras when you are booking online from our website.

We will fit the baby seat in the vehicle, but you must triple check before driving, to guarantee the safety of your child.

Though we would love you to experience our services, sometimes things happen when you plan them the least, so in case if you want to change or cancel a booking, please call us on (08) 8947 2846 or email to enquiries@topendcarrentals.com.au.

We need your current driver’s licence and CREDIT CARDS in order to approve renting a vehicle to you.

Once you have completed your booking online, an automated confirmation email will be sent out.

However, a booking is confirmed, when a staff member from Top End Car Rentals will contact via call or email to confirm the detail and receive security bond and deposit.

Yes, We need to pre-authorize $500 for 4WD and $300 FOR 2wd on customers CREDIT CARDS as a security bond on all vehicle rentals.

We accept VISA, MASTERCARD CREDIT CARDS

Our expectation from the customer is to return the vehicle in the same condition as received. As another customer may be waiting for the vehicle. A checklist will be completed upon returning of vehicle and customers will be informed of any cleaning cost that will occur including our service.
